Front door is 16' x 12', back is 10' x 12'.

As suming 12' for a lift?
![]() 10/17/2019 at 11:04 |

14' to bottom of trusses. Lift is on the longer
-term list. =)

Awesome.
That’s a true Jalop garage....doesn’t even have a car in it yet, already has oil stain on the floor.

Hell yeah. This is a large part of why I want to move out of the city
![]() 10/17/2019 at 11:15 |

Nice! That would be tall enough to get my boat in there.... I’m extremely jealous.

Nice! Have (eventual) plans for climate control as well? My dad put heat and a/c in his shop building. He found a three or four ton A/C unit on Craigslist for cheap and had it installed. I forget what kind of heater he has in there but I believe it was a Craigslist find as well. All I know is that when it’s high 90's here in SWMO, it’s pretty nice to wrench in his shop in a comfortable 74 degrees. It’s equally as nice in January when there’s snow on the ground to be in his shop in short sleeves.

I’m so jealous of that garage.
I’d love that garage with a ground recessed scissor lift and a McLaren/Porsche style embedded two post lift.
and a detailing light tunnel

how much did this cost? I’m thinking about using a structure like this for a home. Front half, garage, back half is the "apartment" on two floors.

Congratulations! New shed day is very awesome. We too are waiting for the sparks to be connected. Wiring and lighting is done but still to dig the line back to the meter ...

30' x 50' pole barn (friend of mine was the contractor). Was right at $35k for the shop itself (rock pad, concrete slab, 14' walls (insulated), 16' x 12' garage door in front, 10' x 12' in back, 2 entry doors, 4 windows, electric throughout (with 220) and 8x overhead LED lights).

Definitely getting some kind of portable heater; not sure about AC. Maybe eventually.
